Howto completele disable AWT?

Hi!
How can i disable building awt related stuff?
--disable-java-awt doesn't work:
unrecognised argument "no" for --enable-java-awt

--without-x doesn't work, either.

I have no need for the AWT stuff and compiling it costs a large amount
of time and today's cvs version spits out:
