It isn't necessarily a bad idea. It just depends on how gcj and
libgcj were built.
Try doing `locate jc1'.
Then run `strings - <path-to-jc1> | grep libgcj.zip'.
This should tell you where gcj thinks it can find the zip file.
Then compare this against where the zip file really is found.
