Questions about eligibility should probably be directed to the FSF.  The
rules governing trade secrets and copyright law aren't simple and are
best left to lawyers IMO.  My concern is that if everyone who ever saw
proprietary code were ruled out, there would be nobody left...

For those who have been tainted by commercial source code, is it
considered OK to contribute documentation and/or bug reports?
