Yes, definitely.
I would prefer to see this done as part of the classpath tools
project. You ("one") could write it in java and use gnu.bytecode or
ASM for the bytecode tweaking.
In that case, wouldn't it be far simpler to talk
to Jon Meyer to get Jasmin into Classpath
tools?
IMHO, GCJ should be a Free replacement
SDK for the Java programming language and
the JVM. So "gaj" should be a part of GCJ.
