I'm sorry, I didn't do anything of the above. I made the patches as part
of an gcj evaluation for my employee. The project ended around Chrismas
and I didn't look at the code since then.
Testing: I used the jython command line (from the rhug project) to test my
patches. I fact, jython didn't work properly without the patches.
Unfortunately I'm a bit short in time for now. I'll help you as
much as I can, but you will have to do the merging yourself.
