Ah, the really official location used to be a .texi file under RCS
control somewhere on one of the gnu.org machines.  I'm not sure if
that is still the case.  I don't know when/how frequently the .html
was updated from this master source.  A friend of mine used to have a
script that would monitor the .texi for changes and send out email
when it was updated, but I don't think that is running any more :-(
