Good -- I myself am similarly biased, so stuff like this is important
to me.

I'm probably going to wind up doing this just because the next year
will probably see a substantial shift in the open-source revision
control world -- Linus/Linux either keeps or dumps bitkeeper, and
subversion (hopefully) is completed.

It shouldn't be too hard to write some perl scripts to wedge my old
CVS history into any new revision control system, even if it involves
re-performing each checkin that went through the original repository.
