Yes. I believe the point (or one of the points) is that at least some
system headers in current Darwin require this extension (more generally,
there are existing bodies of code that require this feature)? (Also, if
someone were to implement support for the OpenCL C language in GCC, OpenCL
2.0 requires blocks.)
