Well things seem to be working well on sparc and still very poorly on x86
so I am scrapping my whole stack on x86. Starting over one step at a time
and carefully looking into testsuite results on every piece as I climb up
the requirements.
As for sparc, I expect to post good results, minus "go", in about 72 hours.
