Well, the assembler is this :
# file /usr/local/bin/as
/usr/local/bin/as: ELF 32-bit LSB executable 80386 Version 1,

This assembler was configured for a target of `i386-pc-solaris2.8'.
So if the bug is there it would affect more than just some small Solaris
i386 server I would think.
