Richard,
   Which libppl would get checked? If gcc
loads libppl via -ldl and libcloog also
is directly linked to libppl, would a version
check from gcc be looking at the dl loaded
libppl or the one linked to libcloog? Or
would this do a direct version check with
ppl in gcc and compare that to the answer
from a version check done through cloog's
interfaces?
