If the link were to stay on the front page then probably it should be
updated for each patchlevel release, to point to the right section of
changes. It would be less work to just remove it now that the 4.4 page
isn't empty, to avoid having to update links in two places for every
patchlevel release. But I don't feel strongly about it either :-)
