section-anchors support for darwin?

I noticed that the gcc.dg/vect testsuite section is showing
failures for...

FAIL: gcc.dg/vect/section-anchors-pr27770.c (test for excess errors)
FAIL: gcc.dg/vect/section-anchors-vect-69.c (test for excess errors)
FAIL: gcc.dg/vect/section-anchors-vect-69.c scan-tree-dump-times Alignment of access forced using peeling 4

on powerpc-apple-darwin8. I recall that the section-anchor support for
gcc 4.2 was dropped but thought this was to be revisited for inclusion
in gcc 4.3. Will that likely happen for gcc 4.3 or will section-anchor
support be pushed off until gcc 4.4 or later on darwin? Thanks in
advance for any clarifications.
        Jack
