trunk gcc has problems finding crtbegin.o

Hi,

current mainline gcc seems to call the linker incorrectly, so that it cannot find the crt*.o files:

~/tmp>cat bla.c
int main(void) {}

~/tmp>gcc -v bla.c
Using built-in specs.
Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
Configured with: /scratch/martin/gcc/configure --prefix=/afs/mpa/data/martin/ugcc --enable-languages=c++,fortran --enable-checking=release

End of search list.

/usr/bin/ld: crtbegin.o: No such file: No such file or directory

This probably happens because the crt*.o files are no longer placed into <some path>/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.3.0/
but rather into <some path>/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/.
Is this related to the recent libgcc changes?

Thanks,
  Martin
