I am trying to compile a toolchain with binutils-2.15, gcc-3.4.2,
glibc-2.3.2, and linux-2.6.9, using crosstool-0.28.
[ you probably mean crosstool-0.28-rc37; 0.28 itself is not released. ]
The process is failing when building glibc and linux threads.

This is a known bug in gcc; see
http://gcc.gnu.org/PR17209
For some reason, that bug is marked as 'waiting for user input',
but it shouldn't be; I provided all the info needed to reproduce
it. Since more people are starting to run into it, I'm
cc'ing gcc@gcc.gnu.org to see if I can stir up some
interest in addressing it.
