Just for the record for those who don't already know this,
Ada is named after Ada Augusta Byron, daughter of the poet
Lord Byron, Countess of Lovelace. She worked with Babbage
on algorithms for the difference engine and is thus given
credit as the world's first programmer.

Another piece of language trivia, the language Linda is
named after the other (in)famous Lovelace.
