Don't know. This isn't really a gcc question. This is either a RISCWatch question or a MontaVista linux question.

The -g option emits debug info. Whether it works with RISCWatch, we don't know. You would have to ask the makers of RISCWatch.

We don't produce anything called ppc_405-gcc. You probably got this from some other source, and you would have to ask them for documentation on this compiler.

We do have generic gcc documentation, which is available as part of the sources. If you have the sources for ppc_405-gcc, then you should already have this documentation.
