How nice. :-) I *thought* I'd understood it, especially after Dara
said it worked, but after your message I figured I could have
been wrong, since it is marvelously undocumented.
And sorry about my tone. I just get irritated with these undocumented
unmaintained "supported" targets.

Definitely... since it would mean that more people would be able to fix
bugs if it went wrong. :-)
Although I'm not totally happy with "the usual way" multilibs are built
either; it's been proposed in the past to master them from the top
level, so that the individual directory makefiles can be a lot less
contorted, and I think that's probably a good idea.
