- Subject: IA64 bootstrap failure
Current mainline does not bootstrap on ia64:
stage2/xgcc -Bstage2/ -B/usr/local/ia64-suse-linux/bin/ -c -g -O2 -gnatpg -gnata -I- -I. -Iada -I../../gcc/ada ../../gcc/ada/s-except.ads -o ada/s-except.o
+===========================GNAT BUG DETECTED==============================+
3.4 20030608 (experimental) (ia64-suse-linux-gnu) Illegal instruction
Error detected at ../../gcc/ada/s-except.ads:100:7
Please submit a bug report; see http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html.
Include the entire contents of this bug box in the report.
Include the exact gcc or gnatmake command that you entered.
Also include sources listed below in gnatchop format
(concatenated together with no headers between files).

The compiler seems to be jumping through a NULL function pointer, but I
have no way to find out where (gdb is nonfunctional on ada code).
Andreas.
