Working with Shared Object build with different Complier.

We are writing a connector which integrates 2 different
applications.
The first application (which uses G++ complier for Compiling)
provides interfacing with other any application.
The second application is built using C++ complier.
If we calls any API from Second application, first application
crashes!
(We tried compliing our connector with both compliers.)
OS : Sun Solaris 5.8
Could anybody help us on this!!!
