Hmm. I'll forward this to him.

Personally, I thought that Danny already was mingw maintainer, togeather with cgf.
Looks like its just cgf officially. Based on cgf's comments on cygwin mailing list I think Danny being official wingw maintainer would work.

According to Danny, on cygwin mailing list, 'most' of the patches are in 3.4 - The stuff thats left needs significant reworking to be made acceptable for general consumption. I dont think that lack of being official maintainer is holding him back. He also said he would be releasing his 3.3 patch set 'shortly'. I fairly regually build gcc 3.4 - (under cygwin) - but have been somewhat lax in my bug reporting recently.
Infact this reminds me that i need to put the finishing touches on a set of 3.2.3 gcc packages and go back and offer to be cygwin gcc *package* maintainer. (not gcc maintainer for cygwin, be a while if i ever make it to that) If i dont hurry up Danny will have his 3.3 patches up before I get done :P

Gareth - needs to work on better time organisation skills.
