- Subject: GCC 3.3: bootstrap success report for GNU/Linux PowerPC
I have just compiled GCC 3.3 with the usual triple-bootstrap, and
installed it. Everything worked perfectly.
This is the information requested in INSTALL/finalinstall.html:
Output of config.guess:
powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu
Output of gcc -v:
Reading specs from
/usr/gcc3.2/lib/gcc-lib/powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu/3.3/specs
Configured with: ../configure --prefix=/usr/gcc3.2 --with-nls
--enable-threads=posix --with-cpu=750
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.3
(the install directory is /usr/gcc3.2, but it's only a name)
Languages enabled: C, C++, Fortran, Objective C, Java
Built on GNU/Linux
Distribution: (quite heavily modified) YellowDog 2.3
Kernel version: 2.4.20, with the PPC patches by Benjamin Herrenschmidt
glibc version: 2.2.5
binutils version: 2.13.90.0.4
Other information:
Compiled using
"-O9 -finline-functions -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer -mcpu=750"
for CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS, BOOT_CFLAGS, LIBCFLAGS and LIBCXXFLAGS
Thanks for your great work.
