well, in any case, it's their problem now.  there's a bug in their
bugzilla and I'm going to get on with my life..

How far back did they branch?  Is there a document explaining the
relationship between redhat's gcc 3.2.2 and FSF gcc, like there was back
in the days of "gcc 2.96"?
