I update my installed version of RedHat Linux once a year, rebuilding the
entire distro. (The idea is to optimize specifically for my hardware
environment.)
I will soon be upgrading to RHL v9, the first new version since I got a
Pentium4-based machine. My question: is the Pentium4 support in GCC
v3.2.2 stable enough to do this?
Thank you.
