I understand that, but implying that the new register allocator will
fix these type of bugs is not valid.


The implication was also that the new regalloc would help remove reload, fixing bugs caused by obscure problems in reload.
This is true.
Just because it *hasn't* removed reload yet, doesn't make the implication any less valid.
