I'd say, let's try: Go ahead and submit a patch, Cc:ing our release
manager (Mark).
And if this is a regression in 3.2.x as well and the PR has been closed
or is not of priority high, please reopen the PR and/or mark it as high
priority.
(Mark has been explicitly asking about the numbers of regression PRs, and
I suppose he's still interested.)
