Running compile-tests

Hi!

I've just for fun tried to build cross-compilers with current HEAD
versions for four targets (mips-linux, mipsel-linux, hppa-linux and
alpha-linux) last night. None of them came to a successful end.
mips*-linux had an ICE in xgcc, and alpha-linux and hppa-linux died
because of header file problems (missing ucontext.h and thr-posix.h
IIRC).

Tha task was to create kernel-useable cross-compilers for C only, so
I've possibly mis-configured those cross-compilers. However, I've got
space CPU cycles, so I could attempt to setup some scripts to daily
attempt a fresh compilation, placing output to some web page, possibly
sending some mail on errors to some list.

Is anybody interested in this?

MfG, JBG
