Subject: Fix for PowerPC bootstrap failure unreviewed

	The regrename.c patch has caused bootstrap failures for PowerPC
and multiple regressions for powerpc-eabisim in the automatic regression
tester.  A patch which fixes the problem was submitted yesterday, but has
not been reviewed.  Would someone please review the patch so that the
trunk can get back to working order?
