Jason --

This is an implicit typename regression that looks to be caused by a
change you made.  I've reassigned the PR to you, with some additional
information in the PR itself.

Would you please take a look and see if you can figure out what's
going on?  If I've incorrectly deduced the cause, please let me know,
and I'll have another go at fixing it myself.
