Since we're talking about fortran configuration, is there any way to
avoid rebuilding the fortran libraries during a "make install"? This
is not "the right thing" to do, and can cause problems when the build
directory and the install directory are on different machines.
I configured and made 3.2 with cc and f77 as
/bin/rm -rf * ; env CC='gcc -m64 -mcpu=ultrasparc' ../configure --prefix=/home/c/lucier/local/gcc-test --enable-languages='c,f77' sparcv9-sun-solaris2.8 > & Configure.log ; make -j 8 STAGE1_CFLAGS='-O2 -g' bootstrap > & build.log &
CONFIG_SHELL was set to /local/bin/bash. The configure, build, and install
logs are at
