No, I have it enabled:
CONFIG_MPENTIUMIII=y
[...]
CONFIG_X86_GOOD_APIC=y
[....]

CONFIG_X86_UP_IOAPIC=y
CONFIG_X86_LOCAL_APIC=y
CONFIG_X86_IO_APIC=y
But in dmesg I have following text:
zone(2): 0 pages.
Local APIC disabled by BIOS -- reenabling.
Could not enable APIC!
Kernel command line: BOOT_IMAGE=Linux ro root=306 video=vesa:mtrr,ywrap apm=off
I've updated BIOS right now, but it doesn't help.
