C++ extensions (fwd)

Subject: C++ extensions


I was wondering if the named return value extension may be used in C, even
though its intended purpose is C++, it seems handy. Same for the >? and 
<? safe min operators.

Is there a version of gcc which implements these extensions, and if not, 
is it easy to produce?
