Done that on i686-pc-linux-gnu. Worked.
Only problem is the one i wrote about some days ago already:
This version does not look into ${prefix}/include for its own
installed header files (relevant e.g. for jni.h)
Both gcc-3.0.2 and gcc-3.1 (snapshots) look there for headers.
