Indeed, I think some global write people should be considering any patch
reversion necessary to fix this, if it isn't fixed within 48 hours, under
the development policy. We may not have had a list of important systems
promulgated by the SC yet for the 3.1 release cycle, but whatever they are
this would seem to break them if GNAT is already installed.
