As long as bug-fix releases occur more often on the 3.0 branch than they
did on the 2.95.x branch, and as long as I don't have to fight to convince
the steering committee to produce yet one more bug-fixed release even though
we're Real Close to the `new version' (read: one year before gcc 3.0 actually
came out), I will be happy...
