Hello together,
if there is interest, I'd volunteer for testing an benchmarking GCC-3.0 on
mips-sgi-irix64 platform (-mabi=64 -mips4). Although I must commit that my
programming skills are not sufficient to do real bug fixing.
I already 'bootstrapped' gcc-2.95.2/3 on this platform (and got a pretty
working compiler), but I was forced to use a selfmade shell script because
the real bootstrap process didn't work as usual. I'd offer this script
(ftp://ftp.uni-duisburg.de/GNU/gcc.IRIX) in case someone is interested in
fixing that.
If someone cares about that, I'd be glad to apply patches, do test runs and
write error reports that conform with http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html.
Cheers,
Martin.
