I think it should be fixed, though not necessarily for 3.0.
The testcase ought to move from gcc.misc-tests to gcc.dg (as previously
noted, gcc.misc-tests can probably die). There doesn't seem to be or to
have been a gcc.dg/uninit-7.c - unless there's some reason for that gap in
the numbering, moving the test there (with or without an XFAIL) should
suffice to shut up the regression tester for now.
