PR 607 is about the fact that it is impossible to run older versions of
CPP with the current preprocessor driver. This is because we renamed
the stand-alone version to cpp0; previously it was called cpp I think,
and was renamed because of the inevitable confusion it caused.
Richard Henderson replied to the PR saying he thinks we should remove
support for -V.
What is the general opinion on this? Should I try to hack the driver
to fix this? Or should we document dropping support for -V and actually
drop it? Or something else?
