Joe, 
You are absolutly right about the copyright assignment
issue, and the need for the copyright assignment form.

The work is being done on the weekend, and my
employeer knows about it, but there is no direct
"endorsement" of your gcc work like many of you on the
list might have. 
Unlike the contributions that many of you are doing on
a daily basis, The work on the introspector is not
obviously productive and could be seen as a waste of
time, it is a long way from being a usefull tool.  On
one level, it is a learning experience for me.

That does not mean that an copyright assignment form
can be avoided, and I am sure that this will not be a
problem. (I wish I knew of other MCIWorldcom Staff
that have tried this before.)

This is really my first attempt at an GPL'ed project 
and I know that many of you are experienced and busy,
really working on the compiler for a living.
That is the reason for the sourceforge branch, is just
to take my ramblings off the high-profile gcc list and
bring into to an area where it is not polluting the
mainstream gcc list.
It might take another year before anything of value
comes out of my work, and I have been working on it
for at least that long - maybe it will be just a
typical pipe-dream sourceforge project. 

I will be needing assistance from all of you in the
list, and wish to have your blessings in going
forward.
