Sirs:
I am a moderately talented programmer in C, and I use your packages
extensively.
A few days ago, my "maker" stopped working, giving me Segmentation
Faults and telling me my compiler could not generate executables. As it
turns out, my gcc compiler (2.95.2) no longer functions perfectly as
well- while it seems to compile the programs fine, it always gives me a
Segmentation Fault as it leaves the program (always as it exits the last
executable statement before exit). I have not changed the environment,
at least I don't think I have, and I have tried rre-downloading and
e-installing the package, to no avail.
Do you have any idea what might be up here? My entire work is shut down
trying to overcome this. I would be eternally grateful to anyone out
there who might be able to help me.
Sincerely,
Clayton Vernon
