Our Numerical Weather Prediction code's test suite (1300 Fortran
routines and a dozen C ones) performed well using GCC-2.95.3 CVS'd at
2000122310UTC.
The suite completed normally. Its execution speed was slightly lower
than using a recent GCC-2.97 snapshot:
