I'd actually like to keep them all.
gcc-patches is only rarely relevant to the Java hackers. I'd prefer
it if we could keep java-patches. Likewise I'd prefer if Java commit
messages went to a special list (perhaps in addition to the gcc commit
list). I think we can easily configure Gnats so that Java PRs are CCd
to java-prs.
