Hi,
In addition to the problem that i mentioned yesterday,
this is the behaviour that i noticed:
If i specify the relocation type as 8 bit pc_rel, the
linker does not cribb and does a clean link.
If i specify the relocation type as 8 bit (not pc_rel),
the linker gives the error "relocation truncated to fit: R_HYPO_8 text". If i specify the -noinhibit-exec option
on the linker command line, the executable gets created
WITH PROPER VALUE as displacement. This is the effect
that I want, but for the linker error.
Also the displacement value is within 127 infact it is 86.
Please help me out with this problem.
Waiting for your kind help.
sincerely
sebastian
