   Is there a way to get a hold of this lib or it is better off trying to convert
   ????

As several people have indicated, libg++ isn't maintained any more;
I'm currently trying to keep it up-to-date, so that it can be used
to test the current compilers. I'd suggest you convert your code; if
you still need a recent copy of libg++, please look at

Cheers.
