I agree that this is something different.
In a sense, we have
a) contributed (and accepted) platforms, i.e., those that are in CVS
Some of these are quite "dead", as far as I understand.
b) platforms we use for testing releases (cf. Mark's page)
c) actively maintained platforms
b) and c) (as least as far as we are concerned) are subsets of a).
a) and b) are documented, but c) is not. And I agree that having a list
for c) together with e-mail addresses of maintainers etc. would be nice.
There is some overlap with the MAINTAINERS file, yet it's different on
the one hand and more detail on the other hand, and I think it might be
useful.
