In the past, being able to build a *WORKING* HylaFax has
been a good indication that you 'got it right' in g++.
Unfortunately, (again in the past) finding a version of
g++ that would compile HylaFax, and generate something
that would RUN correctly was a real crapshoot. At some
point I just gave up compiling new versions and use the
old one I've had for ages.
Compiling and testing something like this is a lot more
effort than a lot of the other benchmarks you have, but
it would be well worth the effort.
