The recommended Modula-3 compiler is now the Polytechnique Montreal
Modula-3 (PM3) distribution (http://m3.polymtl.ca/m3/). This is the most
actively maintained Modula-3 distribution, and the one the CVSup author
now uses. The previously used DEC SRC Modula-3 compiler which really
wasn't being maintained.

The Polytechnique Montreal Modula-3 (PM3) distribution is supose to be
much easier to build. Pre-compiled binaries are available for Linux and
other platforms.
