Dear Sir,
I have a problem building the GNU C Compiler version 2.95.2 for a target
platform of AIX version 4.3.2 on an IBM RS6000 machine. I already have gcc
2.95.1 installed on my machine, but when I attempt to build a (native) gnu
compiler (version 2.95.2), I get an error, saying that the current gnu
compiler doesn't work. I think that the collect2 problem in the gcc2.95.1
is preventing the new compiler to be successfully built.
So I am trying now to build the gcc 2.95.2 from a machine running Redhat
Linux 5.2. But I do not know the argument to be passed as target to the
configure file. Aix isn't listed as one of the possible targets on your
site, afaik.
Could you please help me by telling me what are the exact commands which I
will need to build the compiler ?
