FYI, backing out the recent resource & reorg changes does bring the
Solaris port back to a buildable state. [ The PA would also work, except
that the regclass code is hosing the PA badly at the moment. ]
The x86 port will still bootstrap & test after rolling back those changes,
though we'll have to track down the peep2+resource bug which originally
started us down this path in the first place.
Unless there are objections I propose we back out the resource & reorg
changes. I think long term we'll eventually bring them back, but I don't
think anyone is prepared to make jump & reorg do incremental cfg updates
in the near future.
I'm not recommending we back out the regclass changes at this time. Hopefully
Kenner will sort out that problem soon.
