C++ code compiles but dumps core immediately

Hello,

	I don't think this is an egcs bug, but I'm hoping for someone who
had a similar problem and found a solution. I upgraded several utilities
recently and now even Hello World compiled with egcs-c++ dumps core
immediately. C code works fine. Here are my revisions:

Linux-2.1.13X/AXP on DEC AlphaStation 200
glibc-2.0.105
libstdc++-v2.9.0
egcs-1.1.1
egcs-c++-1.1.1
binutils-2.9.0.1.16

All packages were obtained as-is from rawhide.redhat.com.  I know I broke a
cardinal rule of "never change more than one thing at a time", but feel
free to scald me anyway. :)

Any ideas?

thanks,
-bp
